The University Journal of Military History (Revista Universitaria de Historia Militar – RUHM) is proud to announce the publication of its next issue. You can download it in our new website <http://ruhm.es>
In this issue, we have a dossier coordinated by Professor Emilio Grandío (University of Santiago de Compostela) dealing with the intelligence networks that the contending countries established in Spain during the Second World War. In our “Studies” section, we have a selection of articles dealing with the Uruguayan Civil War (Mario Etchechury), the Apostolado Castrense in Francoist army (Ian Winchester) and the Malvinas War (Andrea Belén Rodríguez).Moreover, in our Translation section we have translated into Spanish Kelly DeVries’ article about the concept of mercenaries and its applicability to medieval combatants. And, finally, we continue to strengthen our review sections, which now has eleven contributions.
Finally, we are also very proud to announce that our journal has been included and indexed in the new product of the prestigious Thomson Reuters’ index, the Emerging Sources Citation Index. For us, a journal with only 4 years of live, it’s something very important and we would like to thank all the ones who have trust our project.
Apart from that, we would like to remind that our CfP both for articles and dossiers (in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian) is still open. For anything you may need, send or suggest, we are at your entire disposal in our email <secretaria@ruhm.es>
